Overview
Internship opportunity in Data Research within the Department of Operational Support, focusing on gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Gathers and analyzes data from various databases and sources.
- Performs statistical and/or mathematical programming.
- Develops reports and visual representations.
- Develops and/or maintains databases.
- Provides consultation, technical assistance, and advises on appropriate statistical methodology.
- Uses statistical and mathematical software packages to summarize and interpret statistical results.
- Designs and implements study activities and process improvements.
- Supports team members with data cleaning and maintaining databases/data systems.
- Creates simple data visualizations.
- Translates data results into written reports or presentations.
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns using basic machine learning techniques and statistical methods.
- Contributes to identifying opportunities to implement innovative approaches and evidence-based reasoning.
- Assists in the development and delivery of data science solutions.
Required Experience

Qualifications
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent).
- Have graduated with a university degree (as defined above).
Relevant coursework in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Visualization, or Analytics.
