Overview
Oversee and manage all logistical activities during emergency interventions to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality operational responses aligned with MSF standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure setup, follow-up, and closure of emergency logistical operations
- Define and implement logistical deployment plans
- Supervise and manage logistics teams in the field
- Ensure compliance with MSF policies and quality standards
- Support the Head of Mission in security management and implementation
- Define and monitor risk reduction measures and contingency plans
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and evacuation procedures
- Guarantee proper living and working conditions for teams
- Manage infrastructures (bases, offices, accommodations)
- Ensure proper functioning of IT and communication systems
- Oversee transport, supply chain, and technical logistics activities
- Contribute to reporting and knowledge capitalization
- Manage, train and evaluate logistics staff
- Ensure capacity building and development of logistics teams
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in humanitarian logistics. Experience in emergency or unstable contexts is required. Proven experience in managing logistics teams.
Qualifications
Degree in logistics, engineering, supply chain, or related field. Technical training is an asset (logistics coordination, emergency response).
