To define, lead, and adapt MSF operational strategy in emergency contexts, ensuring timely, relevant, and high-quality responses aligned with MSF principles and operational priorities. The Emergency Coordinator ensures overall leadership of emergency interventions, including strategic planning, team mobilization, access negotiation, and efficient resource management across multiple projects and contexts.
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in humanitarian contexts, including emergency settings. Significant experience in MSF or other international NGOs is required. Previous experience in coordination roles (Project Coordinator, Medical Coordinator, or equivalent) is essential. Experience in emergency response (conflict, epidemics, displacement, or natural disasters) is highly desirable.
University degree in a relevant field (medical, public health, social sciences, or equivalent). A postgraduate degree in Public Health or Humanitarian Action is an asset.
