Overview
Coordinate and control a full range of business support services for a specific professional area of work to ensure effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a focal point for planning of official missions and delegations.
- Revise and review correspondence and documentation.
- Provide standard business support services to Office Management.
- Undertake on-boarding of new staff members.
- Assist in creating simple images or information using standardized templates.
- Assist office management in various tasks such as planning and monitoring of budgets.
- Proofread written documents.
- Manage WFP resources, cash, stationery, and other consumables.
- Assess and recommend improvements to procedures and practices.
- Provide support for events management, workshops and RFQs.
- Support office management in production of various data and compile reports.
- Provide training and guidance to staff in interpretation of administrative procedures, policies, processes, and use of corporate systems.
Required Experience
Six or more years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in general administrative work. Post-secondary education can compensate for some years of experience. For example, three (3) years of work experience in combination with a Master’s Degree; Four (4) years of work experience in combination with a Bachelor’s Degree.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in a related area.
