Overview

The Livelihood and Economic Inclusion Assistant will support the operationalization of strategic vision to align livelihoods and economic inclusion efforts with the Global Compact on Refugees. The role will contribute to enhancing the economic inclusion and improving self-reliance of persons of concern and host community members.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support partnerships with relevant stakeholders to enhance economic inclusion of UNHCR PoC.
  • Support work with the multi-functional team to compile information about the legal framework for the right to work and rights at work.
  • Contribute to the implementation of socioeconomic surveys.
  • Provide assistance on livelihoods interventions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of field reports and other relevant reports relating to livelihoods.
  • Assist in organization of meetings, workshops and working sessions.
  • Support the identification and management of risks and seek to seize opportunities impacting objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience

For G4 - 1 year relevant experience with High School Diploma; or Bachelor or equivalent or higher. Experience in working with vulnerable and marginalized groups in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ideally in varied field contexts. Experience in working in partnership with private sector, NGOs, UN organisations, development actors, or government authorities.

Business Administration, Development Studies, Economics, Rural Development, Financial Management, Agriculture. or other related field
