The consultant will support partnership and communication activities with a focus on WFP Japan relations, aiming to enhance donor relations, develop partnership opportunities, and support communications and visibility initiatives.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience with an advanced university degree, or five (5) years with a first university degree. Demonstrated experience in partnership development, private sector engagement, resource mobilization, stakeholder engagement, communications, or related fields, preferably within an international organization, development agency, or United Nations environment. Proven experience engaging with private sector entities, foundations, government institutions, development partners, and international organizations, including exposure to the Japanese business community in the Philippines. Familiarity with Japanese communication approaches, business culture, and Japan’s priorities, participation, and engagement with international organizations and development initiatives. Experience supporting partnerships, communications, proposal development, donor visibility activities, and multi-stakeholder collaborations related to humanitarian, development, or social impact initiatives involving Japanese stakeholders. Knowledge of the Philippine private sector and corporate social responsibility (CSR) landscape is highly desirable.
Advanced university degree in Political Science, International Development, Development Economics, International Relations, Law, Marketing, Communications, or another relevant field; or First university degree with additional years of relevant professional experience and/or specialized training.
