Overview
The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Associate (Data Engineer) will support the ICT Department by identifying and integrating relevant data assets into the Microsoft Fabric platform to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Solution Tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deploy data engineering solutions.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance measures.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and processing workflows.
- Facilitate solution adoption and change readiness.
- Optimize data ingestion and processing pipelines by monitoring capacity unit utilization.
- Configure and manage data gateways and connections.
Required Experience
- Four years of relevant professional experience with a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or, six years of relevant professional experience with a school diploma.
- Proven experience in data engineering, data warehousing, API, and ETL processes.
