Overview
Monitor, support, provide technical expertise and optimize pharmacy and medical stock management across MSF OCBA country programs to ensure effective supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and management support to 4-8 Country Programs.
- Oversee and guide Pharma Coordinator (or Mission Pharma).
- Validate and assess physical inventories and product selection processes.
- Promote and reinforce MSF OCBA pharmacy and medical stock management procedures.
- Lead and participate in optimization projects within the medical supply chain.
- Manage the functional ownership of the medical stock management IT systems.
- Design and deliver training programs for staff responsible for managing medical stocks.
- Collaborate with HR to monitor pharmacy management positions and support recruitment.
- Report and communicate findings and recommendations to the Medical Stock Management Coordinator.
- Engage in intersectional platforms to align and improve medical stock management practices.
- Involvement in new supply chain system implementation.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of field experience with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
- Candidates must have completed at least one assignment as Pharmacy Coordinator (Pharma Co) or two assignments as Mission Pharmacist (Mission Pharma).
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy management, medical stock management, supply chain systems and MSF operational procedures.
Qualifications
Degree in Pharmacy is required.
