The Log Basics Monitoring & Knowledge System Lead is responsible for defining how Log Basics are accessed, implemented, and monitored, focusing on accessibility, usability, and operational relevance. This role aims to strengthen accountability and support informed decision-making through the digital transformation of Log Basics and related monitoring mechanisms.


Key Responsibilities
  • Define the scope of the Log Basics digital system, focusing on accessibility and usability.
  • Clarify the level of harmonisation across the full monitoring cycle.
  • Review existing Log Basics monitoring tools, analysing indicators, data fields, and rationale.
  • Map key stakeholders and gather input on operational needs and constraints.
  • Ensure alignment between system development, TIC priorities, and Steering Committee strategic direction.
  • Define key indicators and data flows to track adoption, implementation, and operational impact.
  • Translate elements into an intersectional digital monitoring tool, including a proof of concept (PoC).
  • Pilot the solution, incorporate user feedback, and ensure readiness for rollout.
  • Coordinate with ICT teams and external suppliers for timely and quality delivery.
  • Map and integrate reference documents, policies, and tools linked to each Log Basic.
  • Support the transition from static documentation to dynamic, structured, and updatable content.
  • Support adoption and correct use through dissemination, training, and clear guidance.
  • Guide user engagement and feedback processes, including testing and continuous improvement.
Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, of which minimum 2 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation systems and performance measurement. Proven ability to work in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments. Experience with MSF or a similar humanitarian organization is an asset, particularly in Operations, Logistics, or Information Management.

Qualifications

University degree in Project management monitoring and evaluation, in data analytics and management, in Information Systems or in a related field.

Contract Duration
1 year, with the possibility of extension
