Overview

Provide strategic and technical support to field logistics teams, ensuring alignment with MSF’s operational and logistics policies. Contribute to the quality and effectiveness of humanitarian responses through technical advice, supervision, and coordination.


Key Responsibilities
  • Define and update logistics strategy for missions.
  • Advise field logistics teams on technical guidance and MSF standards.
  • Support development of annual project plans with logistics expertise.
  • Ensure implementation of MSF logistics and ITC policies.
  • Monitor and evaluate supply chain management systems.
  • Coordinate planning and management of emergency stocks.
  • Follow up on logistics performance of missions.
  • Contribute to security management by advising on logistical implications.
  • Participate in human resources processes for logistics staff.
  • Conduct technical briefings and debriefings for logistics professionals.
  • Represent the operational cell in field visits and internal meetings.
  • Facilitate communication between field teams, Logistics Department, and support services.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in humanitarian logistics coordination roles.
  • Strong experience in security management and emergency response.
  • Field experience in one or more of the following areas: WASH, supply chain, construction, transport, or related logistics functions.
  • Previous field experience with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is compulsory.
  • Good understanding of humanitarian operations, particularly in the Middle East, is highly desirable.
Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge of Arabic and/or French will be considered an asset.

Remuneration
Annual salary: HQ L10 40,582 as entry point and Salary increment of 2% every year up to a maximum of 10 years School fees, health insurance and other secondary benefits, according to MSF-EAS Reward
