Overview
Support technical advisory, knowledge sharing, and capacity building activities to strengthen project financial management and financial due diligence across ADB.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance, analysis, and advice on financial management and financial due diligence issues in sovereign operations.
- Help develop financial management guidelines, procedures, and internal review processes for Audited Project Financial Statements and Audited Entity Financial Statements.
- Conduct financial due diligence for sovereign operations.
- Provide financial management throughout project processing, implementation and technical assistance.
- Review Audited Project Financial Statements and Audited Entity Financial Statements for sovereign projects.
- Deliver financial management capacity building and knowledge-sharing programs for clients and staff.
- Manage staff and consultant performance and support ongoing learning and development.
Required Experience
At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in private or public sector financial management or related area with international experience working in several countries. Demonstrated experience leading projects and sharing relevant knowledge to benefit the broader ADB community. Experience mentoring team members, providing guidance on delivery of services.
Qualifications
University degree in business, finance, commerce, or related fields; preferably at post-graduate level or its equivalent. Professional qualification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) from an internationally recognized institution (e.g., IFAC).
