Overview
Coordinate and support the implementation of effective end-to-end supply chain operations for an assigned portfolio of programs, ensuring timely availability of goods and services for medical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of program-level supply chain strategies.
- Participate in operational and strategic Cell decision-making, providing supply chain recommendations.
- Strengthen supply chain capacity through functional support, coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Coordinate and support end-to-end supply chain activities including planning, procurement, transport, importation, stock management, distribution, and budgeting.
- Lead the international medical order (IMO) process for the assigned portfolio.
- Ensure dissemination, application, and contextual adaptation of supply chain policies, procedures, tools, and best practices.
- Analyse country- and program-specific supply chain risks and constraints to define mitigation measures.
- Support monitoring and analysis of supply chain performance through KPIs, reporting, and data analysis.
- Contribute to supply chain budgeting and financial monitoring.
- Contribute to knowledge capitalization, transversal projects, and supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular field visits to support field teams.
- Provide temporary backup to other MST Supply Chain personnel when required.
- Participate in transversal and intersectional supply chain initiatives when required.
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of international experience in supply chain management in humanitarian programs. Previous experience as Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Deputy Coordinator, Supply Chain Coordinator, or Logistics Manager with experience in end-to-end supply chain management, including planning & forecasting, procurement, transport & importation, warehousing, stock management and internal distribution.
