Overview

Responsible for the revision/design, implementation, and management of protection program data collection and information management systems. Contributes to improved, evidence-based programming through enhanced production and analysis of PIM products.


Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and designing IM systems (and tools) for data management.
  • Leading and updating the PowerBI dashboard, data cleaning, and data analysis process.
  • Conducting monthly protection data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and gaps.
  • Generating and maintaining regular dashboards, analytical reports, and visualizations.
  • Ensuring compliance of information systems with applicable standards and guidelines.
  • Supporting onboarding and training of DRC Protection field staff on data collection and management platforms.
  • Serving as DRC’s focal point for 5W reporting and other relevant platforms.
  • Ensuring Data Management Registry, Data Processing Impact Assessments, Data Sharing Protocols and Agreements are in place and regularly updated.
Required Experience

Overall, 3 years of work experience in developing, managing information and using databases in an INGO. Background in Protection Information Management (including GBV, Protection Child Protection, Community Based Protection, Case management, and Protection Monitoring) will be an advantage.

Qualifications

University degree in Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science and/or equivalent professional qualifications. In cases of candidates with substantial work experience in similar profiles, an educational background that develops planning and organization skills is also considered a good fit for the position.
