Overview

Provides programme/project management and implementation assistance at all phases of the programme/project cycle for the Office. Assists with data collection, analysis, and presentation for information sharing and decision-making.


Tasks Summary
  • Researches, compiles, analyzes, summarizes, and presents information/data on budgets.
  • Reviews and revises audit responses.
  • Prepares reports on funding for programme/project-related activities.
  • Coordinates, processes, and follows up on administrative actions related to project implementation.
  • Arranges for formal project closures, budget revisions, and final report distribution.
  • Provides secretariat services to committees and drafts meeting minutes.
  • May undertake mission/field work for administrative, operational, or control tasks.
  • Establishes internal databases and manages programme/project data.
  • Assists with data collection, analysis, and preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Assists with visualizations and updating information material.

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in administration, programme, or related area.
  • Minimum years of relevant experience is reduced by two (2) years for candidates with a first-level University degree.
  • Experience in the UN system or a similar international organization, including experience working in a front office, is required.
  • Experience in an SAP based enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is desirable.
  • Experience in the use of data tools such as Excel or SharePoint, data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and in data management techniques is desirable.
  • One (1) year or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.

Qualification Requirements
  • Completion of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Additional Technical training in the areas of Administration, Programme Management and Budgets is desirable.
