Overview
Internship opportunity within the Legal Affairs Directorate to support research, analysis, and drafting of legal documents related to the UPU's structure, functions, and activities.
Tasks Summary
- Carry out research and analysis on legal issues related to public international law and administrative law
- Prepare draft documents on legal issues
- Assist in preliminary analysis of legal instruments such as treaties and agreements
- Prepare background papers, reports, and other documents
- Synthesize views and practices on legal issues
- Prepare draft legal instruments such as treaties, agreements, and contracts
Experience Requirements
- Law student or law graduate (graduated a maximum of six months prior to the starting date of the internship)
- Good knowledge of public international law, the law of international organizations and/or arbitration law
Qualification Requirements
Law student attached to a university or institution of a similar nature and whose course of study is in progress or about to be completed, or law graduate
