Tasks Summary
- Identifies key concepts, content, skills and pedagogy for curriculum subject areas.
- Uses learner-centered instructional strategies and techniques.
- Enriches host country curriculum to develop student competencies and achieve UNRWA learning goals.
- Assesses students’ learning through formative, summative and diagnostic assessment.
- Maintains a safe and effective learning environment.
- Participates in school co-curricular activities and committees.
- Maintains links with the wider education community.
- Engages in professional development.
- Contributes to data collection, recording and analysis.
- Communicates with parents and the school community.
- Contributes to school policy development, planning and evaluation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
No experience is required for Teacher Basic Education- grade 08 and Teacher Basic Education- grade 09 entry levels.
Qualification Requirements
- First Level: A university degree from an accredited educational institution in an appropriate subject.
- Second Level: A university degree from an accredited educational institution in an appropriate subject, and completion of a minimum one year pre or in-service training course.
