Overview

Support the daily communications work of the Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Section. Assist in tracking, researching, and analyzing information, drafting content, and updating communication platforms.

Tasks Summary

• Track, research, and analyze information on assigned topics
• Draft web stories and social media posts
• Create and update a monthly newsletter
• Assist with communication campaigns
• Maintain and update the Section’s website
• Develop graphics for social media and the website
• Create monthly social media reports

Experience Requirements

Qualification Requirements

• Enrolled in or recently completed a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher)
• Enrolled in or recently completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
• Graduated with a university degree in journalism, communications, digital communications, media studies, filmmaking, graphic design or related field
• Computer literate in standard software applications

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written English

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of an additional official UN language

Contract Duration: Six Months

Work Modality: In-person or remotely
