Overview
Responsible for coordinating human resource activities, managing budgets and finance, and overseeing general administration within the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) Mission in Dhaka.
Tasks Summary
- Coordinate human resource activities including recruitment, placement, and performance appraisal.
- Manage budget and finance, ensuring resource utilization aligns with the Programme Budget.
- Oversee procurement, travel, vendor contracts, and office technology needs.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in administration, finance, accounting, human resources management or related field.
- Experience in the application of administrative/financial policies of the United Nations Secretariat or similar international organization is desirable.
- Experience in the usage of web-based management systems such as Umoja is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
- Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in business or public administration, finance, accounting, law or related area.
- A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted.
