Overview
The Physical Rehabilitation Program (PRP) Field Officer implements physical rehabilitation activities and agenda, organizing and coordinating services for persons with physical impairment or disabilities.
Tasks Summary
- Participates in multidisciplinary consultations for patient assessments and treatment prescriptions.
- Organizes and coordinates assessments and treatment appointments.
- Promotes best practice and provides technical capacity building.
- Monitors patient progress and continuity of care.
- Updates patient lists and contributes to internal reporting.
- Ensures implementation of physiotherapy and Ortho-prosthetics standards.
- Contributes to training and coaching.
- Supports social inclusion through identification and referrals.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in implementing physical rehabilitation activities and agenda.
- Experience in organizing and coordinating physical rehabilitation services.
- Experience in prosthetic, orthotics, mobility aids and physiotherapy.
- Experience in working within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
- Experience in mapping and updating actors in the Bekaa.
- Experience in identifying a referral system for PRP services users.
- Experience in conducting need assessments at the community level.
