Overview
The Roving Shelter Delegate will collaborate with National Societies and humanitarian organizations to support the design and implementation of Shelter, Housing and Settlements response, focusing on strategic planning and technical deliverables from relief to recovery.
Tasks Summary
- Support the definition of context-specific Shelter, Housing and Settlements interventions across different provinces.
- Select appropriate implementation modalities including In-Kind, Cash and Vouchers, Training, and Technical Support.
- Ensure interventions incorporate access to knowledge, materials, resources, and technologies.
- Implement Shelter, Housing and Settlements response with community involvement.
- Support operational assessments and risk analysis related to shelter interventions.
- Develop designs for shelter solutions (emergency, transitional, and/or durable).
- Coordinate settlement planning in urban and rural settings.
Experience Requirements
Experience in Shelter, Housing and Settlements programming, including design, specifications, safer building promotion, supervision, and Housing Land and Property issues/security of tenure.
