Overview
The Administration & Finance Associate will coordinate human resource activities, manage budget and finance, oversee general administration, and support contract administration, procurement, and travel.
Tasks Summary
- Coordinate human resource activities including recruitment, placement, and performance appraisal.
- Monitor staffing tables and advise staff on visa matters.
- Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and financial reporting.
- Review requisitions and monitor extra-budgetary resources.
- Provide guidance and supervision to general service staff.
- Coordinate with service units and internal team members.
- Assist with day-to-day administration of contracts and process contractor payments.
- Support procurement of goods and verify travel claims.
- Provide emergency administrative and financial support for staff deployments.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field (with High School diploma).
- Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field (with Bachelor’s degree).
- Experience in data management and office administration is an asset.
- Experience in using online ERP System financial software is desirable.
- Experience in handling web-based management systems is required.
- Experience across a wide range of human resources, work programming/planning, budget/financial management and travel arrangement is desirable.
- Experience in procurement of goods and services and contract management is desirable.
- Experience in administrative and office management functions is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
- Secondary education is required.
- A university degree (Bachelor’s degree) or other formal training in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field will be given due consideration.
- Specialized certification in HR is an advantage.
