Overview

Support the coordination of sport-related projects and partnerships to advance UNHCR's mandate in forced displacement situations.

Tasks Summary

• Support the coordination of the FIFA Legacy Fund and FIFA Foundation projects.
• Support the roll-out and implementation of the UNHCR sport strategy.
• Support outreach and communication with sport partners, including organizing meetings and producing minutes and briefing notes.
• Support the Sport Coordination Team in its role as Co-convenor of the Sport for Refugees Coalition.
• Conduct media monitoring and produce weekly updates on sports initiatives for/with refugees/displaced communities.
• Update internal communication sites and support knowledge sharing on sports.
• Support the use of CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Produce materials related to the sport for protection approach.
• Support the broader PCS team during meetings and events.
• Undertake any other tasks as required.

Experience Requirements

• Recent graduate (degree completed in the year preceding application) or current student in a graduate school programme.
• Experience preparing briefs, presentations and communication materials.
• Some experience with Photo/video editing tools, Adobe InDesign (or other graphics design software), Salesforce and/or an interest in learning new software packages.

Qualification Requirements

• Graduate school programme from a university or higher education facility accredited by UNESCO.
