Overview

The intern will support the Learning and Development Team in producing videos and multimedia materials for online courses and other learning channels to support staff learning and development.

Tasks Summary

• Assisting in editing scripts and storyboards for videos, animations, and other multimedia content.
• Producing and editing multimedia content, including videos, motion graphics, and visual assets.
• Applying quality standards and accessibility checks to multimedia products.
• Preparing multimedia materials, including formatting, optimizing files, and supporting integration and testing within the Learning Management System.
• Organizing, versioning, and maintaining multimedia files and ensuring secure storage.
• Documenting processes, templates, and production steps.
• Performing other related work to support the development of learning products and communication initiatives.

Experience Requirements

Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.

Qualification Requirements

• Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
• OR be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• Have a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship.
• Have good knowledge of standard software applications, including MS Office and multimedia production applications.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.

Contract Duration: 3 - 6 Months

Remuneration: This internship is unpaid. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
