The Construction Specialist is responsible for the coordination of construction activities, including planning, procurement support, and on-site monitoring. The role provides technical and advisory support to government and partners on construction project management.
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, at the national and/or international levels, in project management, site supervision, quality assurance and/or other directly-related technical fields. Understanding of development and humanitarian work.
An advanced university degree is required in civil engineering, construction engineering, architecture or other relevant area, or relevant first-level university degree (Bachelor’s) in conjunction with a valid relevant professional certification.
Languages Required: Fluency in Romanian and working knowledge of English.
Languages Preferred: Knowledge of Russian or another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, or Spanish).
