Protection Caseworker (Child Protection)

Overview

Provide Case Management services to children at risk or who have experienced abuse, neglect, exploitation, and/or violence. Ensure identification of at-risk children and referral to services, providing individual support and family support.

Tasks Summary

• Conducting initial and comprehensive assessments of child protection cases.
• Developing and implementing case management plans.
• Providing basic counseling and psychosocial support.
• Referring and accompanying children to specialized services.
• Monitoring service implementation and reviewing progress.
• Supporting children and families through visits and emotional support.
• Promoting and supporting the implementation of MHPSS programs.
• Sharing information with communities about services and conduct.
• Facilitating community participation in programs.
• Collecting and reporting feedback and complaints.
• Keeping records of cases and preparing weekly reports.
• Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of data.
• Attending case management meetings and coordinating with local actors.
• Providing written and oral translation as needed.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in implementing child protection programs, preferably in social work, case management, or psychosocial programs for children, in humanitarian or development organizations.

Qualification Requirements

Higher education in social work, psychology, education, human rights, social sciences, humanities, or another related field is desirable.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian

Languages Preferred: basic English skills are an advantage

Work Modality: full-time work in the office in Dnipro with regular trips to local sites
