Overview

Oversees and coordinates the work of the Digital Printing Group to ensure the Print Shop meets the IAEA’s production requirements. Delivers timely, efficient, and high-quality Print Shop services, driving automation and improving workflows.

Tasks Summary
  • Analyse and plan efficient, cost-effective workflows and staffing.
  • Provide guidance to the Digital Printing Group.
  • Schedule, coordinate and oversee daily production activities.
  • Operate and manage digital presses and finishing equipment.
  • Manage print purchasing and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Ensure all in‑house and outsourced work meets quality standards.
  • Plan and oversee regular maintenance of production equipment.
  • Work closely with teams to ensure smooth end‑to‑end digital printing processes.
  • Prepare cost estimates and final invoices.
  • Support the Unit Head by analysing printing statistics and service reports.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis and development of request for proposals.
  • Collaborate with the Division of Procurement of Services on contract management.
  • Stay informed about new printing technologies and industry trends.
Experience Requirements

At least two years of relevant working experience in a digital printing environment. Supervisory experience in a printing related operation.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or University degree in print production, book and media production, printing technology, digital print technologies or a related field. A combination of training and four additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree. Specialized training in printing.

Other Details

Languages Required: Excellent oral and written command of English.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset. Knowledge of German is an asset.

Contract Duration: 24 months

Work Modality:

Remuneration: Tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $56046 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 31554*, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses; Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
