Overview
The internship supports the Policy Team's fundraising, reporting, and coordination needs within UNEP FI's sustainable finance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support to Fundraising Activities: Conduct donor mapping, identify engagement opportunities, maintain donor profiles, prepare fundraising summaries, assist in drafting proposals, monitor pipelines, and develop outreach materials.
- Support to Monitoring and Reporting: Contribute to the Donor and Implementing Partners Reporting Tracker, ensure reporting milestones are recorded, assist in establishing automated reporting workflows, and track reporting timelines.
- Support to Internal Operations: Assist with administrative tasks for new unit establishment, coordinate Policy Team Speed Networking activities, provide operational support, and perform ad-hoc tasks.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. A field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent);
- Have graduated with a university degree and, if selected, must commence the internship within a one-year period of graduation.
Recent undergraduate or recent master’s degree graduate in international policy, communications, journalism, environmental studies, development studies, economics, business administration, finance, ideally with some experience in communications through internships or extracurricular activities.
