Overview
Provide editing, proofreading, and data checking support for a care report to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency prior to publication.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread the care report for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall language quality.
- Ensure consistent terminology, style, and formatting throughout the report.
- Check for clarity, coherence, and logical flow, making suggestions for improvement.
- Verify that references, footnotes, annexes, and citations are complete and correctly formatted.
- Conduct data checks for internal consistency, including data points, figures, percentages, totals, table/figure numbering, and alignment between data, text, and sources.
- Ensure the final version of the report is ready for publication, adhering to UNDP guidelines.
Required Experience
- Experience in editing and proofreading technical or academic publications.
- Experience working with style guides and publication standards.
