Overview

Support the development of a centralized Photo Bank for the UNDP Sustainable Energy Hub by compiling, tagging, and sourcing images. This role involves quality assurance of existing metadata, application of curated photos to slides, and sourcing new images to expand the database.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review and correct metadata for existing images in Piwigo, ensuring accurate tags, author credits, licenses, and descriptions.
  • Apply curated photos to designated Figma slides, using Piwigo image IDs as Figma layer names.
  • Source, upload, and tag additional high-quality images to expand the photo bank.
  • Maintain consistent formatting and organization across all metadata.
  • Document all newly sourced images in a shared metadata tracking sheet.
Required Experience
  • Background or interest in visual media, with familiarity in photo metadata (e.g. author, license, description) and a solid understanding of usage rights.
  • Experience working with photo content related to energy, climate, or sustainable development is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail in tagging, naming, and organizing images.
  • Clear and effective communication skills for reporting progress and incorporating feedback.
  • Basic knowledge of Figma is an asset.
