Overview
The Associate will support the ICRC Global Cyber Hub's internal and external engagement objectives, bridging the tech and humanitarian sectors and positioning the ICRC's work in cyber R&D and cyber affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the 2026 Symposium in Luxembourg, including contributions on substantive documents, expert and attendee engagement, logistics, marketing, and drafting the outcome report.
- Conduct research on tech issues impacting the humanitarian sector, analyze data, and prepare reports.
- Contribute to reports and articles, develop social media content, and create communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support representation at conferences and forums related to humanitarian use of technologies or the impact of digital technologies in humanitarian conflict/crisis settings.
Required Experience
Up to 1 year of relevant professional experience after graduation; previous internships/traineeships are an asset.
Qualifications
Completed university degree in Communications, International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, Humanitarian Affairs or another relevant field.
