Overview
Internship opportunity within the Sustainable Institutional Investment Section of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). The role aims to expose interns to UNCTAD's research, intergovernmental meetings, and technical assistance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing the 2026 UNCTAD Future Investment Conference.
- Provide support for the organization of the World Investment Forum 2026.
- Provide substantive support for research on sustainable investment, impact investment, and issues related to special economic zones, and prepare inputs to related reports and publications.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Experience
No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Exposure to research on development related projects in developing economies is preferable.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in a second level university degree (master or equivalent, or higher); or
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first level university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s or equivalent).
Studies in economics, sustainable development, international investment or international business are required.
