Overview
Provide technical, analytical, and administrative support to legal operations and administrative activities within the Office of the General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule meetings and briefings for Board and Investment Committee meetings.
- Coordinate arrangements for OGC-sponsored events, workshops, and conferences.
- Prepare documentation on ADB policies, procedures, legal opinions, and confidential correspondence.
- Assist in preparing policy papers, briefing notes, and speeches.
- Manage OGC team activities, including supervision of legal operations assistants.
- Monitor and advise OGC Management on counsels' assignments and specializations.
- Track document flow for action using a database.
- Supervise the documentation of regional and country-specific files.
- Maintain working and back-up files for non-transactional assignments.
- Facilitate recruitment requirements and prepare budget requests.
- Contribute to OGC's knowledge management initiatives.
- Maintain and update databases.
- Generate statistical reports on lawyer assignments.
- Assist in developing and coordinating training and orientation initiatives.
- Prepare and review documentation for ADB investment transactions and treasury services.
- Provide analytical, technical, and administrative support in engaging external counsels.
- Assist in drafting and facilitating documents for loans, guarantees, and TA projects.
- Provide logistical, administrative, and coordination support for LPR activities.
Required Experience
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably with good working knowledge of ADB's project-related and TA operation and administration.
