Overview
Lead the Staffing People and Operations Delivery unit to strengthen workforce planning and staffing approaches for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Operational Centre Brussels (OCB). The role aims to anticipate, allocate, and develop the global workforce in alignment with strategic ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Staffing People and Operations Delivery team, overseeing functions like Pool Management, Mobility, and workforce planning.
- Drive workforce planning and staffing anticipation by developing approaches to identify staffing needs and gaps.
- Turn staffing data into decision support by overseeing staffing dashboards and analytical briefs.
- Shape staffing models and resource allocation for country programs, projects, and emergencies.
- Strengthen staffing practices and continuous improvement by harmonizing methods and documenting lessons learned.
Required Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in HR, workforce management, staffing, operations support, or organisational management.
- Significant experience leading sizeable teams or multi-functional units in complex international settings.
- Proven track record in using workforce data, HR analytics, and monitoring tools to support staffing decisions in a large-scale international organisation, at both headquarters and programme level.
- MSF professional experience is an asset.
Qualifications
University degree in Human Resources Management, Data Analytics, Statistics, International Relations, Humanitarian Management or similar or 8 years equivalent professional experience.
