This internship supports the CCAC's science-to-policy work, focusing on the launch, communication, and stakeholder engagement related to scientific assessments.

Tasks Summary

• Assisting in the publication and dissemination of the Integrated Assessment on Agriculture and Food Systems
• Supporting scientific communication and outreach related to the Assessment and other scientific outputs
• Drafting and reviewing briefings, summaries, and technical papers
• Attending and summarizing meetings, workshops, and teleconferences
• Other ad hoc duties

Experience Requirements

Qualification Requirements

• Masters level qualification in a scientific field related to climate change, air pollution, and environmental sciences required
• Current enrollment in doctoral studies related to short-lived climate pollutants or agriculture and food systems studies considered a plus

Languages Required: Fluency in English is required

Contract Duration: 3 months

Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
