Overview
The UNEP Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) Policy and Communications Internship supports the policy team with communications, events, and research activities related to sustainable finance.
Tasks Summary
- Assist with policy team communications including social media planning and writing, event planning, and metrics tracking
- Support policy team activities including research and writing for policy briefs and other reports
- Write, edit, and design communication content for social media, events, and web content
- Contribute to managing UNEP FI policy team webpages
- Conduct background research on sustainable finance policies and emerging trends
- Prepare meeting notes and briefing materials
- Track metrics for events and communications activities
Experience Requirements
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience. A field of study closely related to the internship is required.
Qualification Requirements
- Enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher)
- Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent)
- Graduated with a university degree and commence internship within one year of graduation
- Recent undergraduate or master’s degree graduate in international policy, communications, journalism, environmental studies, development studies, economics, business administration, or finance
