Provides specialized medical care in obstetrics and gynaecology, including patient examination, treatment, and training of medical staff.

Tasks Summary

• Examines, treats, and follows up on high-risk pregnancies and women with special health needs during visits to health centres.
• Plans and directs in-service training for medical and nursing staff on gynaecology, obstetrics, and safe reproductive health practices.
• Maintains patient records in the electronic medical records system and provides statistical data.
• Manages referral systems with contracted and government hospitals.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are maintained according to agency procedures.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience in medicine.
• Two years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology after obtaining a degree in this discipline.

Qualification Requirements

• A university degree in medicine from a recognized university, including a twelve-month internship.
• An advanced degree in obstetrics and gynaecology specialty.
• A valid license to practice obstetrics and gynaecology in the country of duty station (where applicable).

Remuneration: Daily Rate: 41,66 USD • 1 day Annual Leave and 1 day of sick leave for each completed month of service.
