Overview
Provides general outpatient services and other special services, including maternal and child health, and control of non-communicable diseases. Participates in training of other staff and replaces other Medical Officers during their absence.
Tasks Summary
- Provides general outpatient services and other special services, including maternal and child health, control of non-communicable diseases as well as for hospital referrals
- Participates in on-the-job and in-service training of other staff
- Replaces other Medical Officers during their absence, in the same or other health centers, as required
- Performs other duties as may be required
Experience Requirements
At least four years of progressively responsible and relevant work experience is required.
Qualification Requirements
A medical degree from an accredited educational institution including an internship of at least twelve-months duration; A valid governmental license to practice medicine in the country of duty station.
