Overview

Provides general outpatient services and other special services, including maternal and child health, and control of non-communicable diseases. Participates in training of other staff and replaces other Medical Officers during their absence.

Tasks Summary

• Provides general outpatient services and other special services, including maternal and child health, control of non-communicable diseases as well as for hospital referrals
• Participates in on-the-job and in-service training of other staff
• Replaces other Medical Officers during their absence, in the same or other health centers, as required
• Performs other duties as may be required

Experience Requirements

At least four years of progressively responsible and relevant work experience is required.

Qualification Requirements

A medical degree from an accredited educational institution including an internship of at least twelve-months duration; A valid governmental license to practice medicine in the country of duty station.

Contract Duration: up to three months

Remuneration: Daily Rate: 38,69 USD; 1 day Annual Leave and 1 day of sick leave for each completed month of service.
