Overview
Support Oxfam Syria programme in the implementation of emergency & resilience WASH activities to alleviate suffering of vulnerable population affected by ongoing conflict in Syria. This includes supporting the development and guidance of PHE Assistants in assessment, implementation assessment & planning, supervision of construction works, preparing BoQ and assisting the project manager in contract management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and guidance of PHE Assistants in assessment, implementation assessment & planning.
- Supervision of construction works.
- Preparing BoQ.
- Assisting the project manager in contract management.
- Able to spend 50% time in the field.
Required Experience
- Practical Engineering experience of 4 years or more in WASH projects Especially (Sanitary, Water Network Rehabilitation, WASH in school and water pumping stations Projects).
- Previous work experience not less than 3 years with LNGOs/INGOs in WASH field.
- Demonstrated experience of training and capacity building of different teams.
Qualifications
• Holds a university degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university.
