Overview
Provide administrative, logistical, and financial assistance to ensure the smooth implementation of the ILO FAIRWAY Programme, Phase II and the Joint Programme – Strengthening the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the world of work in Kuwait.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft standard correspondence, type and format project-related documents.
- Carry out general office management, administrative and logistic support for meetings, seminars and/or workshops.
- Update information on project website and databases.
- Reply to queries and emails for information.
- Maintain files, databases and official records.
- Search and select relevant information and records.
- Liaise/Request services from other work units.
- Process all administrative arrangements for official travel.
- Prepare cost estimates and compile documents and materials for missions.
- Organize logistical and administrative arrangements for activities.
- Compile routine financial data and information.
- Enter data to classify and code transactions.
- Prepare and process transactions in IRIS.
- Arrange various payments.
- Draft payment-related correspondence and ensure follow-up.
- Assist project teams in preparing financial plans, budgets, and financial reports.
- Monitor, review, and process Implementation Agreement payments and reconcile expenditures.
- Prepare and draft correspondence in both Arabic and English.
- Provide necessary administrative support to ILO Kuwait Office and its work with the UN Country Team.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Required Experience
At least three years’ experience in general office management and clerical support work.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school education.
- Formal training in accounting. and/or finance and administrative field would be an asset.
