Overview
The MEAL Assistant will support the MEAL team with data collection, analysis, and coordination with response programs. This role aims to ensure high-quality monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning across programs in Gaza.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in programme updates for response management and internal information sharing.
- Assist MEAL officer with data collection processes and analysis.
- Conduct field monitoring visits and facilitate focus groups.
- Assist with programme evaluations and assessments.
- Handle, document, and ensure confidentiality and security of feedback and complaints.
- Support the Complaints and Feedback Mechanism.
- Contribute to preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on MEAL.
- Prepare field visit reports and conduct debriefings.
- Coordinate and communicate with MEAL and programme staff regarding feedback and complaints.
- Maintain liaison with the MEAL unit and programme teams.
- Support MEAL Officer in capacity building of field staff.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in MEAL, preferably in a humanitarian or development context.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, Engineering, information technology, management, economics, or a related field.
